We will be recording all of the Bucs’ rosters cuts here as they are made public, by us or by other outlets, between now and the 4:00 p.m. EST deadline on Saturday.
Bucs have started the process of cutting their roster from 91 players to 53 by cutting undrafted rookie QB Austin Allen of Arkansas. He could come back as 3rd QB on practice squad while Jameis Winston is suspended.
Source tells me that the Bucs have waived DaVonte Lambert, who started nine games for them as a rookie two years ago. He spent most of camp lining up inside because of injuries but he plays outside too. https://t.co/lJTkSTQ5vn
I've confirmed that the Bucs have waived defensive end Patrick O'Connor, as first reported by @GregAuman. Another potential practice squad candidate after playing in three regular season games for them last year.
