A member of the Bucs’ equipment staff was sent home following a positive COVID test, per Adam Schefter.

According to Schefter the positive test shouldn’t impact the Bucs’ Monday Night Football match-up with the New York Giants in Week 8 but the report comes just hours after multiple players from the Giants’ organization were quarantined following a positive test along their offensive line.

This is what you get when 35% of the country won’t wear basic protective gear for political reasons.

Do I agree with it? No. Do I believe we need to stop cowering in fear? Yes. But I wear them because If there is a possibility it helps slow the contraction of it. I want to start getting back to living. I want Tampa in the super bowl. If me wearing a mask helps that happen in any way, I will wear it every second other than to eat. This is special, and I intend on doing my part if that’s what it takes to ensure we are able to see our bucs win another super bowl.

What does wearing a mask have to do with cowering? People walk while wearing it. They’re not crouching in a corner wearing it like Gollum… ;)

Don’t conflate “objecting to being forced to wear a mask” and “won’t wear a mask.” They’re different things. I very much object to government intervention on the matter, but I wear a mask when in large groups or unable to socially distance.

You wear a seatbelt when you’re driving, don’t you?

Yeah it’s all a political mask issue. Funny how my wife is a teacher, wears a mask all the time, the students all wear masks and she got COVID. Both my son and I live in the same home as her. When she tested positive we all practiced social distancing in the home, none of us wore a mask in the home, washed out hands, and I slept in another bedroom for 10 days from her positive test date. Both my son and I didn’t test positive.

You know, I got tested a cpl months ago because I realized I’d been very sick, abnormally so for me with breathing problems etc before they said Covid-19 was here, so I hoped the test would either say I hadn’t had it or that I had/did and could donate convalescent plasma to help others with it. A few problems I had were 1. the tests are not all the same 2. My results said I didn’t HAVE it, NOT that I hadn’t already had it! 3. The person who took my test didn’t do a good job of taking a… Read more »

You don’t have to agree with it but if you want to be a good neighbor and look out for others, then you wear it. Thank you.

Too much emphasis is put on mask wearing and not enough on social distancing. If you don’t social distance, wearing a mask does no good. Too many do neither, and quite a few do one but not the other. Most of the spread now is coming from small groups, including family gatherings, friends hanging out, going to restaurants and bars where it’s very tough to wear a mask when you’re trying to eat or drink. Masks may help, but by far the most important thing to do is socially distance. Avoid groups of any kind. Stay away from bars and… Read more »

Masks don’t do a damn thing. Unless everyone uses a respirator or N95 we shouldn’t be wearing them. I can blow a fucking candle out with any of these cloth masks. Covid droplets are far smaller than any cloth mask can protect. The stupidity of wearing one to walk 10 feet into a restaurant is mind blowing. It has nothing to do with politics it’s just common sense. They aren’t working. 99.95% survivability rate.

Yeah, all the doctors and experts are liars. Or just plain stupid, of course.

I didn’t say that. But there are recent studies that prove my point. Fauci has been wrong and contradicted himself numerous times. If you’re so scared stay inside. The majority of people are over this shit.

No, he didn’t.

That is, to use a term you probably familiar with, fake news.

Yes he did lol. It’s not debatable. It’s fact. Go back and look at the numerous interviews he done.

And this is a homogeneous site in that we r all Bucfans! There’s no wonder why there is no consensus among the masses as to what protocols r effective. I like alcohol in my sports; politics… not so much.

Agreed! I also like Dr’s and experts to advise the public on matters of international health/welfare and not politicians using it for ammo to try to steal an election. I mean, you have to give the political talking heads some credit! They sat patiently waiting to see if his was really serious.. For about a week after the US outbreak! They then did what they do and turned an issue (medical this time) into political ammunition who they then gave to every sympathetic “news” station to help “their party” win. It’s disgusting, reprehensible really and it makes me sick to… Read more »

Is there no end to the subjects that are made political nowadays? I’m convinced that no matter what one party’s position is, the other will be the opposite. Me, I can think for myself.
