With the Super Bowl finishing the season just four days ago, it’s only natural that the odds start coming out for next year’s Super Bowl winner. So what are the chances of the Bucs winning their third Super Bowl and second in three seasons?

According to MyBookie.ag, Tampa Bay has +2200 odds to win it all next season, which is tied for 13th best in the NFL. Kansas City and Buffalo each lead the way at +600.

At this time of the year, it’s difficult to tell whether you’re getting this at a good or bad value. If the Bucs can pull off a trade and acquire a quarterback like Russell Wilson or Deshaun Watson, then they have a shot at making another playoff run. That would also reward you for placing a bet early because their odds would significantly drop with a quarterback of that caliber.

If Tampa Bay goes with a stop-gap quarterback such as Blaine Gabbert or decide to expedite the Kyle Trask process – you might as well kiss that money good-bye. But as Tom Brady and Justin Bieber say, never say never.

Outside of Brady’s retirement, the Bucs still have questions about whether they can re-sign starters like Chris Godwin, Carlton Davis III, Rob Gronkowski, Ryan Jensen, Alex Cappa, Jordan Whitehead and others. Who the Bucs can retain will significantly impact their odds.

The Bucs have a very talented roster that broke a franchise record with 13 wins last season. Even without Brady, they should be very competitive. What Tampa Bay has going for them is a weak division in the NFC South. An average record could still be enough to win the division and guarantee yourself at least one home playoff game. All you need is to get into the playoffs and anything is possible after that.

If you really want to get crazy, currently retired Buc Tom Brady has +4600 odds to win MVP next season, per Caesar’s Sportsbook. He led the league with 43 touchdown passes and 5,316 passing yards, but was second in the race to Aaron Rodgers. You won’t get any better odds on Brady then you will now if he comes out of retirement. But should he decide to stay away from the game, you pretty much just lit your money on fire. With a myriad of more gossip, rumors and reports to come by the time training camp starts in August, the lines could change each day.
