Tom Brady might be retired, but he’s keeping busy outside of football. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brady is showing his acting chops once again. The star quarterback will reportedly produce and star in a movie called “80 For Brady.” It’s a road trip movie featuring Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Rita Moreno.
Inspired by a true story, #80forBrady tells the story of four best friends and New England Patriots fans who take a life-changing trip to the 2017 #SuperBowl to see their quarterback hero, Tom Brady, play https://t.co/lSJPijVjgI

The Hollywood Reporter states that this movie is inspired by a true story of four Patriots fans and best friends that take a long road trip to get to Super Bowl LI. This, of course, is the championship when Brady and the Patriots infamously came back from a 28-3 deficit to win 34-28 in overtime.
Still, Bucs fans are hoping that Brady will change his mind and return to playing football in Tampa Bay this season. But this news doesn’t help. What’s made Brady the GOAT is his constant work ethic and relentless focus on the game. Acting and producing in movies takes time. If that is Brady’s top priority over the summer, it’s tough to believe that he would suddenly pivot back to football.
Even when playing, Brady has had a lot of different ventures off the field. Among many things, he has the very successful sports training and recovery program called TB12. The 44-year old also just recently dropped a clothing line dubbed the “Brady Brand.” He also owns a production company named “199 Productions”, which will be producing the upcoming film.
The Buccaneer Great has appeared on the big screen on occasion as well. He’s been in the Entourage movie, “Ted 2” and “Living With Yourself.” In television, Brady was also in an Entourage episode and hosted Saturday Night Live back in 2005. He’s lent his voice in an episode of The Simpsons and Family Guy as well.
If you haven’t seen it yet, Brady’s appearance in the Entourage episode, “Fore!” is a great time. In fact, it’s one of the more memorable episodes of the hit show. I would recommend it.

Brady said on his “Let’s Go!” podcast to “never say never” about a return to football. But as his offseason plans continue to unfold, seeing him come back to the NFL doesn’t seem as likely.
