All 257 selections are in, they’ve all been announced and the 2026 NFL Draft has officially reached its end. The Bucs brought in a wealth of talent to their defense while also adding some intriguing depth to the offense, and the hope now is that they’ll get enough contributions from their rookie class to supplement the existing roster and get back to the top of the NFC South after a one-year hiatus.
Tampa Bay’s 2026 draft class – Jason Licht’s 13th as the team’s general manager – includes Miami edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr., Missouri inside linebacker Josiah Trotter, Georgia State wide receiver Ted Hurst, Miami defensive back Keionte Scott, Clemson defensive tackle DeMonte Capehart, Notre Dame guard Billy Schrauth and LSU tight end Bauer Sharp.
The Bucs addressed their two biggest needs early with the selections of Bain and Trotter, then they found a new “X” receiver in Hurst to boost the receiving corps. From there, they added Scott, who brings versatility to their secondary and gives them some flexibility to move other pieces around. And then came some depth in the form of Capehart, Schrauth and Sharp. That’s an all-encompassing type of draft.

The player acquisition process isn’t over for the Bucs and the rest of the NFL, either, as the frenzy that is undrafted free agency is already underway. Tampa Bay has begun signing undrafted free agents in addition to inviting others to their rookie mini camp, which will be held at the AdventHealth Training Center on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9.
