We have to go back to Sapp where we were this lucky on how the chips fell. Bain is the most complete defensive player in this draft. He will be the defensive rookie of the year. Amazing.

I watched one. Not enough to make a judgment. I think the issues with short arms, the car accident, and athleticism testing are overblown, but I do think that those reasons are why teams passed on him. I am cautiously optimistic about him in Tampa. Especially after seeing the phone call.
I watched 4 of their games last year as my best bud is a huge Miami fan and we do some Saturday football things with the families. Never in a million years did I think he would be there at 15. He does has shorter arms than most, but the guy plays ferociously on the field and I now have reason to think the defense will turn a corner with the addition of him and the FAs that have been signed. Couple that with hopefully a young LB or CB in Round 2, this defense could be primed to be one of the best in the league.....all of that in spite of my hatred for the grinning idiot on the sidelines.
