I bleed red and pewter as well, but I just do not see any possible way this grinning idiot at head coach does anything to get this team over the debacle we saw last year. And yes, both sides need to STFU. The organization had opportunities to take care of this. Baker had opportunities presented to him that he rejected. Time to play the games and let the chips fall where they may.....which is going to be a complete gutting at the end of the season.

The offense experienced a significant decline. First 6 games, they were tied for 8th in PPG. They dropped all the way down to 22nd for the last 11 games....ranking 17th overall for the year.
You are also correct that the defense and special teams sucked but the anemic offense surely contributed, right?
Sure. Especially if you can no longer protect the QB and exposing him to multiple shots per game, he can’t overcome the defencies of the other two phases of the game.Especially on defense and special teams..500 would be nice

nobody is saying Baker is a bad QB. All three phases of the game were ass for last 11 games last year. Special teams was ass all year. Defense bad, but honestly would have been 0-6 down the stretch if not for their play in Arizona and Carolina games. Yes...3rd and 28! i hear ya.

Also, not a good plan for success. Rookies are rarely true season changers.
