Rookie cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III snagged his first two pro interceptions and a balanced Buccaneers offense gave Dirk Koetter his first win as an NFL head coach, 27-21 over Jacksonville
A first-round draft pick out of Florida, Hargreaves made a pair of outstanding, athletic plays to pick off Jaguars backup quarterback Chad Henne on both occasions. The first came with less than a minute left in the first half and set up fellow rookie Roberto Aguayo’s 28-yard field goal. The kick capped a 17-point second quarter and gave Tampa Bay its first lead of the game, 17-14.
