The cowboys are rebuilding their defense and have picks at 12 and 20. The chances are pretty good that one of those picks will be an edge rusher. Schrager has the Cowboys taking Mesidor at 20. Walter Football has Mesidor going at 42, so who knows. They have the Bucs taking CJ Allen. The media may be overrating Mesidor's draft stock as Walter Football tends to know what is going on as good as anybody.Mesidor was gone at 20 to the Cowpukes and oddly enough, the Eagles took Faulk at 15.

Reaching for need is not going to solve anything. Mesidor will be 5-8 sack range if he can stay healthy. He's a solid player for sure but there's other elite players where we draft that aren't reaches or projects or injured frequently.
I'd prefer we just draft really good players. Trade up for Bain.
Hell I'd even take Jordan Tyson there because he will be a star.
Trade back for Howell. Take Proctor... Trade up for Styles. Trade up for Downs.
I really like Bailey... If he fell that'd be amazing.

Yes he was a reach... A good reach but a reach.
I'm not saying a huge reach but I've seen Mesidor also mocked late second so I feel like the range is 20 high end all the way back the late 2nd.
It doesn't mean I'm right. He could be a stud. I just don't see anything jumping off the tape
