He's doing great. Should even get some credit for the deep ball to the other receiver because he was attracting all the attention underneath.

Evans looking good

Weird, considering you said he was “washed”.

Evans does look good.

The Rams have to figure some things out on defense.

You mean the one that was throwing to him for 1/3 of his Pro Bowl nods? The one throwing to him for one of his only two AP accolades?

Yeah, I’m sure it had nothing to do with the HC you think “dEsErvEs a sTaTuE”.

Slow, soft Philly taking L’s by the handful this week.

Evans stats are looking good. Thanks to the NFL's greed, I was unable to watch Evans looking good.

NASCAR did the same thing moving their races to different outlets. I couldn't keep track of where to watch. If the NFL were smart, they'd let their fans watch the games, and leave the home games in the home stadiums. Self-serving GREED.

the hostility!

Evans isn't what he use to be (hence washed) but i always thought the Bucs offense wouldn't be as good without him.  Guess we will find out soon enough

they basically fed him on the first drive with 3 catches

he ended with 7 targets overall under 50 yards receiving but a TD we are all use to seeing in the redzone!

Evans stats are looking good

His game looked even better.

His 4 receiving first down receptions were more than any San Fran receiver had in a game in 2025.

He was also in the slot for 43% of his snaps.

Looked fluid, and sharp on his cuts and routes.

I thought he looked great and he was used exactly as he was being used here so kudos to him for that too. He had the one low drop, but geez he is almost every first down they had early on.

Hope he keeps it going because he is in a perfect spot.  They need him badly

Why would that dumbass Kyle Shanahan put Mike Evans in the slot?

The TD catch was quite a play by the #1WR.

stars aligning

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Stribling is expected to be out for at least a month. Stribling is reportedly dealing with a deltoid sprain and is still consulting doctors about his options, but is not currently expected to need surgery.

Ask Larry Fitzgerald, Mr. Local Football Savant.

Or, just understand what you are seeing when you watch the Bucs:

"Against zone coverage, Egbuka was highly efficient, posting a +0.213 EPA/play. However, against man coverage, that plummetted to a -0.337 EPA/play with a meager 32.7% success rate. He averaged just 0.91 yards per route run when targeted against man schemes. When injuries to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin forced Egbuka out of his natural position and onto the boundary, cornerbacks routinely jammed him. Physical corners like Sauce Gardner and Quinyon Mitchell disrupted his release entirely, taking away his buildup speed. Over one late-season five-game stretch against press-heavy teams, he was held to just one catch for eight yards. He struggled significantly to generate pure separation at the stem of his routes, tying for 92nd out of 120 qualified NFL pass-catchers with an average separation of just 2.6 yards.

The Solution for 2026
Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht admitted the team asked too much of Egbuka by forcing him into the X role. Going into the 2026 season, offensive coordinator Zac Robinson's plan is to slide Egbuka into the Z receiver position and slot. Moving him off the line of scrimmage allows the offense to utilize pre-snap motion and stacked alignments, giving him free releases to maximize his elite instincts in space rather than leaving him isolated on an island"

Its almost as if that “not a true WR1” can play any position.

It’s weird for a guy who’s “washed”.

*And yes, that goalline TD was a beauty*
