Still need a LVD replacement for the long haul.

Also, EDGE, CB, OL, and IDL.

Gonna watch quite a bit of Austin Romaine, Ben Roberts and John Curry from Texas Tech.

Evan Tengesdahl from Cincinnatti.

Need a few more games to let it flush out.

Just at the Ducks game watching us limp out of the BS game and I'm ready to nuke this roster. 😂

Curious of your and your Ducks brethren’s feelings on Lanning? His first couple years, I thought he was promising.  Now, I’m not so sure. His first game after losing both coordinators didn’t go too well.

It's hard to judge but overall he falls flat with lots of time to prepare. His season openers are sloppy and the playoff games were sloppy.

But he has more or less dominated the B10.

Certain teams have his number (Indiana, Boise, Washington, and to a lesser extent Ohio St)... But he's gotten better every year.

We've started slow plenty and done well I'm more concerned with two straight losses to end the season not even being remotely competitive.

All that said we've had some gnarly bullshit come our way end of season... Playing Indiana with our 6th stringer RB who already declared for the transfer portal because of 3 injuries and 2 other rbs declaring? Both coordinators being recruited to head coaching positions?

The rules to to change so that shit doesn't happen so I give him a half-pass but my god... That team did not respond at all even with all that garbage.

Verdict: he's still the best coach we've ever had so no choice but to let him figure it out.

Second verdict: Dante Moore isn't nearly as good as the hype. Great arm. Terrible pocket awareness, can't scramble, can't take contact, too many pre read decisions. He's a late first type talent not a top 5. Great arm tho.

Good forward thinking. Anzalone is a stop-gap, a good one at that but doesn't have much time left. Would be nice to draft someone who can cover ground and pick-up his difficult assignments. Don't think its smart draft capital to invest R1 if the kid won't play until after 2028; so hopefully we're looking to develop a kid in the third or fourth round would upside. Hell, I'm even fine with a R2 pick sitting until he's ready.

He could play in 2028.

Hell, if he's a stud, he can play in 2027.

Anzalone has a low cap number, and his dead cap hit would be minimal if you wanted to be extreme.

Agreed.

He was so bad today..Lanning was so bad. Two brand new play callers who sucked ass. Penalties. Unprepared. We got dog walked. The game shouldn't have even been close and when it mattered most Moore sucked ass.

Nix and Gabriel were far better college QBs. Moore has terrible pocket awareness and he's super awkward scrambling.

Season basically done unless we win the B10.

Neat.

It's a Ducks life

Lanning was so bad.

Very, very bad day. They could pretty easily be 0-2.

The playoffs are probably gone, but hopefully they beat OSU.

We have to win out and the way we're playing, really doubt it.

God dammit I was praying Moore went pro.

Looks like that Nike money can’t buy solid effort or good decision making.  Feels like this will be Lanning’s last season in Eugene.

The Big Ten took it on the chin over the weekend, with Michigan being the lone bright spot.

BC beat Rutgers

OKSt whipped #6 Oregon

#19 Washington bare beat Utah State 16-14

#21 Iowa bare beat Iowa State 16-13

Wake Forest beat Purdue

Mississippi State beat the hell out of Minnesota

Duke beat Illinois

And of course Ohio State wilted to Texas, another Ryan Day choke job

Not a good weekend at all, but lots of football left.

Going with two rookie coordinators the are clueless was... A choice.

But also are you capable of anything other than a talking heads extreme opinion? Lanning last season? Cmon
