- He plays like last 11 games of 2025 - No thanks, we can sign a cheaper veteran option to bridge way with our top 10 draft pick at QB. Like why spend $50M a year on a guy that has us with losing records anyway
- He plays like first 6 games and 2024 season - Hey now....5 years, $275M.....with pleasure!
- If he plays somewhere in the middle, which is likely the real Baker....yeah i'm probably not expecting a championship out of a Baker led team, particularly with a cap hit twice the amount but as many suggest, i can live with Baker as our guy the next 4 years. We certainly, as a franchise, have done worse....but i just think we are in the Pittsburgh Steelers area of....yeah never really take this team seriously.

Mannion has no play calling experience but they figured with Grizzard having some experience play calling the two can work in unison.

Play calling issues with his run calls are well documented with Grizzard but then again Mayfield injuries down the srech and the injuries along the team still allowed the offense to be competitive because of Grizzard play calling and Mayfield magic in 6-2 start. People can't cherry pick Mayfield's early season success and say it was his alone and that Grizzard had no input on that because he did and he did that with a decimated WR corps and OL.
Conversely Robinson had two years in comparison to deliver a better product on field than Grizzard did in half a season (6-2) and his measuring stick is to be better than Grizzard and Mayfield of 2025 6-2 hot start.
People make excuses for Robinson with his WR corps and QB play but he had Bijan Robinson available when they scored under or at 10 points in multiple contests. That should be far more concerning then anything else.
