I think you already have.11 teams? Can you name them
I hear Pittsburgh and Minnesota are paying attention.
It is interesting that there were a number of QB needy teams this last off season, but as far as I know none of them asked the Bucs if they were interested in trading Baker.I think you already have.11 teams? Can you name them

I would agree with those 2; would struggle to find 11 given current QB situations, contracts, etc
Your last point, Alldaway, is probably the most puzzling part to me. With guys like that and the kind of legacy work they’ve put in around the NFL, you just wouldn’t expect the offense to look as bad as it did at times—especially in the second half of the season. That’s why I lean toward it being a combination of things: Grizzard’s impact, the injuries, and Baker’s up-and-down play. For my two cents Grizzard latched onto quickly with the Eagles while Leftwich found it very slow for activity for his services. I just think Leftwich while brilliant in certain situations needed oversight. Maybe that is a similar outcome with Grizzard and he does better taking a step back into a role he is very, very good at and he works alongside with Mannion now.
This arguing over Grizzard and Leftwich ignores the fact the Bucs had Tom Moore and now Zampese on the staff. How can the offense be in such a tail spin with these people around the organization? Also why would Bowles need to be more hands on last off season with the offense when you have Zampese and Moore on staff?
I want to believe that bringing in a new—and likely better—OC than Grizzard will help smooth some of that out. And if you factor in health, because like others have said, every team deals with injuries, you’d expect the offense to look more like it did in the first half of last season. Still, even with the additions on defense, I can’t shake the feeling that the defense is what’s going to hold this team back again this year.
As for Baker’s contract, I really think he’s got to show some consistency this season. There’s no way I’d be comfortable just signing off on $50M per year in the final year of his deal with how streaky he can be. I’d need to see him level that out first. That said, I still think he’s the best option the Bucs have at QB right now.
I just think it was a lot of smoke to suggest Bowles had to "help" Grizzard on offense at some point last season when you have Moore and Zampese on staff to help on offense. Bowles simply did not like how Grizzard called the ground game and fired him. Instead of inventing reasons people should be more upfront and frank of their true intentions.
Robinson will run the ball more and he will call more 12 personnel. And if that is what Bowles wants that is what he is going to get. But it is going to be a case of be careful for what you wish for.
The Eagles are taking a gamble by going with a green inexperienced OC and Grizzard joining him. Also by trading away AJ Brown but if the Eagles pass offense doesn't miss a beat or looks better this makes Bowles look worse.
Bowles better pray that Robinson performs or else he looks like a drunk fool again.

It wasn't smoke. Todd openly talked about how he would have a heavy hand in the offense.
This was well documented.

the dramatics of this fan base haha
Baker will be a Buc next year
just because some of us are saying to be smart about a situation with an up and down journeyman QB coming off his worst season as a Buc entering age 31 season and with all the leverage; doesn’t mean we are anti Baker
how would you all feel if Bucs “paid the man” at 5 years, $275M and then Baker doesn’t top 25 TDs the next 3 years and Bucs don’t have a winning record; was that a good premature extension?
bucs are trying to determine if they are extending a top 10 guy or a middle of the pack guy; in either case he’s our best option for 2027
but 2 years, $90M is on the table if he plays mid again. A lot different than what Baker is seeking.
luckily for us, bakers the kind of guy to play with chip on shoulder so we should get a lights out lazer focused baker this year
some of you want to take away that “chip on shoulder” prematurely because 3 other teams may want him next year and when we tag him, we eliminate those 3 teams from the negotiations, so there’s no risk at all. Just because we tag him, doesn’t mean we won’t work out a deal, the tag mind you being less than what bakers looking for annually thus another check mark for Bucs waiting and being able to leverage that in negotiations.
We shouldn’t reward Baker for his play last season. He was a major contributor for collapse and giving him that fat contract extension would signal that losing is ok. He needs to bounce back to earn what he wants.

No. The Bucs know they have a top 10 QB. There is no need to extend his contract today. Like honestly, why would you? To save money??
but as far as I know none of them asked the Bucs if they were interested in trading Baker.
how would you know?
I guess you mean there were no reports of teams asking the Bucs about trading of Mayfield while he's under contract, but in the future?
Bowles simply did not like how Grizzard called the ground game and fired him. Instead of inventing reasons people should be more upfront and frank of their true intentions.
lol, wut?
Grizzard is now a Bowles victim?

badabing, you keep posting stuff like this.
YES, you are saying be smart BUT your premise for that is that Mayfield IS the last 11 games of 2025, right?
That is "anti-Mayfield" in the sense that you dont think he is 2023 or 2024 Mayfield or even somewhere in between, right? This is why Biggs agrees with you. Biggs is Trask-loving Mayfield is "consistently inconsistent" QB who missed "wide open receivers running. free" in 2023 and who dragged the 2023 run game down by "sending the RBs the wrong way."
Come on, Badading admit you are actually Biggs-like anti Mayfield. Not mocking you if that is your view. Just trying to make sure your view on Mayfield is crystal clear. I say you are Biggs-lite?

The truth is that Coen could have play called down the stretch last year and the outcome would still have been the same. Mayfield was a let down the stretch which is why he needs to focus.
Bowles simply did not like how Grizzard called the ground game and fired him. Instead of inventing reasons people should be more upfront and frank of their true intentions.

We are going to find out.
Eagles dumped AJ Brown and hired a green OC in Mannion to team with Grizzard. If the Eagles passing game looks better than the Bucs then yes Bowles looks like the biggest fat retard in the room.
Realistically with a green OC and trading away AJ Brown the Eagles passing game should take a step back this year but this is wait and see moment.
I just think it was a lot of smoke to suggest Bowles had to "help" Grizzard on offense at some point last season

Zampese wasn't on this staff last season.
Moore was and that tells me everything I need to know about Bowles influence on offense. In fact it tells me everything I need to know that they have Zampese now despite the hiring of Robinson.
Robinson too me is just another yes man like Grizzard was for Bowles to meddle with on offense. If I am Mayfield I would not sign an extension this year unless it is a sweetheart deal and see if Bowles and Robinson are swept away the following off season.
Mayfield could ball out, land a huge contract extension and may not have to deal with Bowles next year. Mayfield holds all the cards at this point because of how badly the Bucs messed up their off season approach.
Mayfield was a let down the stretch which is why he needs to focus.
Lavonte David after he retired a couple fo months ago on Baker Mayfield injuries:
“Man, Baker was going through a lot, bro. Baker had a lot of injuries that you didn’t expect a quarterback to play through. You know what I’m saying? He had the oblique injury, he had the shoulder injury, he had a lot of things. You know, ankle injury, knee injury. . . . He was really trying to push through and really trying to be the player that we needed him to be."
So unless you think David is a liar or think injuries don’t matter. Please stop.

Then Mayfield needs to do the mature thing and sit if he is injured and learn from his mistakes. Harming the team's ability to win didn't help and in the process it does more harm to himself. When Mayfield didn't sit while playing hurt in Cleveland it almost derailed his career.
if Bowles had any balls as a HC he would bench Mayfield until he was healed properly.
