You've seen the board? Lucky man. Even TKraz doesn't get to look at it.Faulk isn't on their board.
Of course, the chances of me or anybody actually being right is pretty slim when it comes to mock drafts. So the chance of you being able to say "I told you so" are pretty good. Good for you. Why not do your own mock? Perhaps you did and I missed it. I haven't read all the posts.
The guy I think may be overemphasized is Mesidor. A lot of people are mocking him to the Bucs, but unless he slides to the 2nd round I don't think the Bucs will be interested.

I would not take him in the 2nd round either.
I like most of what you did here, Chas. I still think Allen is a good LB even though he is starting to drop in the most recent projections. Gabe Jacas is a beast and a good pick as he can either play the Edge or even OLB as he played both in college. Not a fan of Igbinosun because I think there are better CBs out there around that round than he is. Banks pick is not one I would do just because he seems quirky to me. Malachi Fields is a good pick at WR but I'm not sure we draft another one. Sam Roush is a pro-ready TE. Lucas and Hall are "meh" picks to me.I normally don't like to do mock drafts, but I wanted to take a shot at one. I think there is a realistic chance Licht trades down in the first round so I can mocking a trade with the Cowboys. The Buccaneers trade #15 to the Cowboys for #20 and #84.
at #20 the Buccaneers take CJ Allen | LB | Georgia
at #46 the Buccaneers take Gabe Jacas | EDGE | Illinois
at #77 the Buccaneers take Davison Igbinosun | CB | Ohio State
at #84 the Buccaneers take Caleb Banks | DT | Florida
at 116 the Buccaneers take Malachi Fields | WR | Notre Dame
at #155 the Buccaneers take Sam Roush | TE | Stanford
at #195 the Buccaneers take Anthony Lucas | EDGE | USC
at #229 the Buccaneers take T.J. Hall | CB | IowaI am reading mixed things about Sam Roush. Some mocks have him in this range, others have him in the high 70s to mid 80s. I think most of the other picks have a chance to be there and be good values for the Buccaneers.
What are your mocks? What are your criticisms about these potential picks? I am open to discussion. Under a week to go, folks.
Here's mine playing by your established ruleset:I'll challenge anybody to do a free 7 Rd. PFSN mock draft simulator- Consensus board, two trades max, no future picks involved.
27. (From SF for #15) Kenyon Sadiq - TE Oregon
The Bucs take BPA which happened to be Sadiq in this mock draft
46. Jacob Rodriguez - LB Texas Tech
Bucs grab one of the best LBs in the whole draft
58. (From SF for #15) R Mason Thomas - EDGE Oklahoma
Licht and company address Edge later in Round 2 with this pick and get a really good player that could impact the defense immediately
77. Jake Golday - LB Cincinnati
Tampa decides to add one more young talent in the LB room with the selection of Golday. They don;t necessarily have to draft another LB in this draft, but Golday was BPA and could be a great addition to the defensive team
116. Daylen Everette - CB Georgia
Our Bucs grab one of the best CBs in the whole class with this selection
155. DeMonte Capehart - DT Clemson
Bucs grab a potential heir apparent to Vea and a good player to add tot he D-Line rotation
195. Josh Cameron - WR Baylor
Taking a WR in the draft would be a luxury and the Bucs will take one in the next to last round that could develop into a great possession wide receivier
229. Logan Taylor - OG Boston College
Monster in the last round that can play all the positions in the line
Why not do your own mock?
Why not do your own research?
If you had, you’d see that I’ve posted multiple of them.

What you need to know: Yes, this pick is probably going to be a defensive player. That said, Sadiq is a name to watch here, with new OC Zac Robinson having a readymade role for him in how he used Kyle Pitts Jr. in Atlanta last year. If the Buccaneers do look for defense, edge would loom as the biggest immediate need. And assuming Bain is off the board, along with Bailey and Reese, they might have the dilemma of taking a hard look at Miami edge rusher Akheem Mesidor. Plenty of scouts prefer Mesidor’s tape and physical profile to Bain’s, but his college career was pockmarked by injuries, and he just turned 25. To take him this high, you’d have to really like him as a player. Meanwhile, if you’re looking at corner, the injury risk on McCoy at this stage of the first round may be too great. So would it be too early to look at his teammate Hood?
Simms has us trading up for a CB (Delane)
"Tampa needs a cover corner. They lost Jamel Dean. Their [other] corners were not good last year. They were pitiful; they couldn’t cover anybody,” Simms said. “I think they got to feel the desperation here.”
OK I'll take your word for it. PR isn't high on Faulk on their writeup today. But for all his faults he's still rated as a first round pick, so he must have some good qualities. We need a good defensive line that puts pressure on the QB it has to with more than just one guy. We may not find the next Shaq Barrett in this draft. We need a good D-line and the sacks will come from somewhere. Doesn' t matter which player gets them as long as they are getting the heat on the QB without putting in special packages. We'll see.Why not do your own mock?

Let’s see…
”Tampa Was Out On Two First-Round Defensive Lineman”
“Thankfully, the Bucs didn’t have a first-round grade on him. In fact, it was much, much lower. Like really low.”
Weird, it’s as if…
