Both get a fair amount of heat here but lots of respect from guys Josh Q and Ledyard, particularly after games like yesterday
"everyone had a highlight reel block or two, but Graham Barton and Tristan Wirfs had some especially impactful second level blocks that I’ll focus on this week in film study. Cade Otton was incredible, lining up all over the formation and throwing a ton of key lead blocks."
Josh Q also said this about Otton during the offseason:
"Otton is a solid receiver who is one of the better do-it-all tight ends in the game at blocking. He can execute in any system, split out wide, flex to the slot and doesn’t tip the offense’s hand by just merely being on the field. He’s perfect for what this offense needs, especially with Robinson at the controls."
I think some of the Otton heat is that he is not a move TE and the Bucs lack a number one, but if you look at yesterdays game Otton stands out over and over for dirty work blocking.
what gives with Barton though? Yesterday he is all over making key blocks.
