The entire Bucs coaching staff should be wiped after 2026, but if the Bucs were looking for reasons to do something less the obvious scapegoat (at this point) is Robinson and its not really even close. Maybe that changes some with Mayfeld coming back, but if you were deciding right now you'd fire Robinson at a minimum.

If you compare the current Buccaneers to the 2024 Buccaneers (last playoff team) the GLARING difference is no passing game. The run offense is about the same and the defense is better in most areas

THE BUCS OFFENSE CAN RUN, BUT HAS ZERO PASSING GAME. COMPARISON TO 2024

The 2024 Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense finished with an Offensive EPA per play of +0.13, ranking 5th in the NFL. [1]
Key 2024 Offensive Stats & Rankings
  • Offensive EPA / Play: +0.13 (5th in NFL).  (CURRENTLY -.13 29TH IN NFL)

  • Points Per Game: 29.5 (4th in NFL, 502 total points) (CURRENTLY 19.8, 25TH IN NFL)

  • Total Yards Per Game: 399.6 (3rd in NFL, 6,793 total yards) (CURRENTLY 292.7, 24TH IN LEAGUE)

  • Passing Yards Per Game: 250.4 (3rd in NFL) (CURRENTLY 189, 30TH IN THE LEAGUE)

  • Rushing Yards Per Game: 149.2 (4th in NFL) (CURRENTLY 127.8 7TH IN NFL)

  • Third-Down Conversion Rate: 50.7% (1st in NFL) (CURRENTLY 36.78, 23RD IN NFL)

THE BUCS DEFENSE IS IMPROVED, PARTICULARLY IF YOU ADJUST SCORING DEFENSE FOR ST SCORES ETC . COMPARISON TO 2024:

In the 2024 NFL season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense ranked 18th in total defense, allowing an average of 341.8 yards per game according to Fox Sports. [1]
Key 2024 Defensive Stats for Tampa Bay:
  • Total Defense: 18th (341.8 yards allowed per game) (CURRENTLY 299.5  4TH IN THE LEAGUE)

  • Rushing defense:  7th (4.1 yards per carry ) (CURRENTLY  3.4 YPC, 3RD IN THE LEAGUE)
  •
  • Passing Defense: 30th ( 245.3 yards allowed per game)  (CURRENTLY 224, 19TH IN LEAGUE)

  • Scoring Defense: 17th 22.6 points per game. (CURRENTLY 23 POINTS PER GAME, 17TH IN THE LEAGUE)

Very dysfunctional team. Goes beyond Robinson. If Glazers keep Bowles another year, they are committing franchise suicide.

No kidding. But Bowles seems to be a cat with nine lives. It's hard to imagine Bowles surviving the horrible finish to last season. It's even harder to imagine Bowles surviving the horrible start to this season. The OP poses it's time to clean house after this season. Agree. New GM. New HC. New coaching staff. Emphasis on getting more from the offensive personnel, and tweaking the defense.

If Bowles pulls off a Fisher like finish the Glazers will put him in the Ring of Honor.

But we all know .500 ball ala Fisher ball isn't what franchises should strive for.

As it stands right now, entire staff gets wiped

and if smith returns it means Tomlin took the job. Ugh. Could do worse but rather go offense

I thought he would be fired after last season. I think I can understand now (even if I dsiagree) why that didnt happen then.  But, can't imagine that happening again after the way this season has played out. I think at this point its only a question of whether Licht goes too.

Both should be gone but the glazers are morons so it's annoying that we all admit there's that possibility they bring him back either way.

Licht and Bowles fate is tied to Mayfield.  I mean that is what it comes down to.

The entire staff needs to be gutted. The only coach I would retain is Smith, as his impact on ST has been very noticeable from a year ago. The rest of this gagglefuck of idiots can hit the road.

Yes because Mayfield is very streaky.

But also because Licht and Bowles operated the off season like it hinged on Mayfield and sprinkle in the 2026 rookie class.

If this ownership group is actually serious, then no, they're not.

A participation trophy a few retards on here would celebrate.

Also, one that would make this franchise an absolute embarrassment.

let's see how today goes

Baker leads us to victory and we are re-energized

Baker fails to lead O to 23 points and we make up excuses - no Luke, no Emeka, injury, etc.
