Good on the Big 10. All the other conferences should follow suit and "lock" these bums out. Ridiculous.Big Ten reportedly will bar NFL players from conference schools
Yup def the way to go... Also makes Kiffins comments look dumb
I heard on the radio today that the SEC did the same as the Big 10. I think all conferences should bar any player who attended an NFL training camp should be barred..
Right but again we have judges going rogue on the NCAA because they're probably fans of those teams.
Mississippi judge for ChamblissÂ
Texas judge for Sorbsy
Louisiana judge for the TE and basketball player and assuming Plyburn.
Corruption and briberyÂ
Be interesting to see this all play out. I was glad to see the SEC follow the Big 10s example. When all conferences get onboard, it will trump the selective judges trying to stack the deck of their favorite colleges. Hopefully it leads to some regulation because this is the wild, wild west.
Pyburn is suddenly feeling a bit poorer. Instead of a half-mil NIL deal he'll have to settle for the practice squad like the rest of the bubble players. ÂBe interesting to see this all play out. I mean my initial, kneejerk reaction is "screw 'em". However if you take a deeper look, it's not any of these players fault that (A) Lane Kiffin is a complete doucher who will literally do anything to anyone without regard to decency or the like, and (B) that the NCAA has their collective heads so far up their own keesters, that they created this mess with an ungoverned, unregulated NIL standard without really exploring what it can do not only to its product but also to the professional product. So Pyburn isn't the problem, but the concept of him returning to college after he has suited up in meaningful NFL practices and preseason is the problem.Pyburn is suddenly feeling a bit poorer. Instead of a half-mil NIL deal he'll have to settle for the practice squad like the rest of the bubble players. ÂBe interesting to see this all play out. Hope you're rightÂ

My thoughts exactlyÂ

Suck it up, buttercup. Time to go to the real world.
i never blamed Pyburn for trying to do the best he can for himself. I just wasn't fond of the "Why me- Why not me" thing. Just talk from the heart. I don't need prepared inspirational quotes. And he talks about how he wasn't giving it his all in college, but now they want to give him NIL money? Just be straight with the fans - within reason - How about "I love the Bucs, but I'm going to do what's best for my career at the end of the day." The dude had visits already arranged with Texas A+M and Miami. why act like its about inspiration. It's about money - and that's perfectly fine - just be honest about it. I may be totally offbase, but Pyburn isn't starting off on the right foot with me. ÂSo Pyburn isn't the problem, but the concept of him returning to college after he has suited up in meaningful NFL practices and preseason is the problem.
Hopefully players learn that associating with Kiffin is the kiss of death. I'm sure Ol Miss fans knowÂ
As do Raider fans, as do Tennessee fans, as do USC fans, as do Ole Miss fans, and on and on. When is the football world going to be done with this complete toolbag of a person?Hopefully players learn that associating with Kiffin is the kiss of death. I'm sure Ol Miss fans knowÂ

He always just does enough to entice an administration to trust him. Not even sure what his end game is... Maybe it's LSU it's a very attractive job. What would be better?
Ohio State? Bama? ND? Michigan?Â
Pyburn just plays ball but you have to wonder why did he turn it on now?
what a mess. If I'm Pyburn I'm demanding a suitcase full of cash up front. $500K in $20s before he sets foot on a college campus. Then we'll worry about the laws later. That's kind of how they did it in the old days isn't it? ÂLol
