As dumb a call as it was, Tucker was in. Period. Â
I don't think so or should I say it was 50/50. Had they called TD it would have stood.
Tucker run style is not patient at all so I get that he wants to create momentum to score but he's not even trying to have vision. All of his runs are just head down and hope.
I thought it was close from the time his shin/knee touched the ground to the time the ball made it to the goal line. I can't call it one way or the other.
What I can say is it was the wrong decision by a head coach and his OC for a team that has sleepwalked through the first four games of the season. I don't have an issue with the play itself as 9 times out of 10, I think Tucker pounds that in. It was just the wrong time to consider it.
Replays clearly show that his knee was down before the ball crossed the goal line. The Bucs didn't even throw a red flag to have the play reviewed. Bad decision by the Bucs not to kick the FG and make it a 3 score advantage in the 4th QTR.

Agree with the last sentiment. Â Bowles is gone today if we blew that game. Â But no, the replay showed he was in but the announcers decided to stay with the edit. Â No big, we won and the OL looked great doing it.Â

I don't think his success rate is anywhere near 90%. Hell last year he had 4 tries vs the saints in a row and failed.
I get that he's the goal line back and has had some success but that's far from a guarantee when your run toward BreadesonÂ

Great? Nah. Improved, yes.
How many penalties did they have? 8? 10?
It was a rhetorical statement, Fire. Jesus Christ you miserable fuck. I would hate to be you.I thought it was close from the time his shin/knee touched the ground to the time the ball made it to the goal line. I can't call it one way or the other.
