Bowles has driven down the players values while being the 4th best defense.
Cool.
So, what’s Diaby worth on the trade market as of today?
Let’s hear it.
Somebody will pay him more than the Bucs (if Bowles is gone) but because they think he might have been held back by the system and is a good run defender

Not much.
Weird.
Why is it weird? He’s a decent player with an expiring contract. He doesn’t have pass rush traits so he’s not going to be in high demand.

It's weird because pass rushers in this system will never we showcased because they're asked to do asinine things constantly instead of generate pressure and playing to their god given strengths.
But you knew that...
You're just being daft
Knowing Licht he will try to re-up Diaby
I doubt he will "try" too hard IF Bowles is being shown the door. Diaby will likely move on too.
Correlation being what?
It will depend how much power the head coach is given in terms of player personal and will said head coach be given power to pick his own GM
guys like Cade Otton and Zyon McCollum who were mid players at best got second contracts from the team.
it was cute when Licht was running it back with the 2020 team....not sure why he thought it was such a good idea with a .500 squad

Good point
You might think this premise is off but I see Licht mostly doing his GM job by trying to give the HC the players the HC wants. For example we took Trotter - a Bowles player if ever there was one - when the need was something different. We took White with Arians (and maybe Bowles) over the moon about the guy. We repeatedly draft tweener DBs
Maybe that premise of mine is wrong, but if it is not then Diaby will likely move on because:
a) the new DC is going to have less use for a big, run stopping edge who gets a few sacks (ie a Bowles style edge) and
b) another team might be more likely to see him as held back by Bowles system, maybe they can "fix" him
Logan Hall was a Bowles-style player (too big for edge so maybe a fast interior player) taken in an agreed trade back. That did not work out for either the team or Hall. Houston still took a chance on him on the basis that maybe it was just the system. I dont think its worked out that way but that was their thinking at the time.
Its hard to say what Diaby would be outside the Bowles system
Also hard to assess how well they've coached him.
