Read-Option: Running With The Role?
As explained on the previous pages, T.J. Ward is a very good player, but getting the most of him on this Bucs defense will take some creative thinking – the good part is, the team is willing to take the shot on hitting the jackpot with players like that once things are established elsewhere.

Bucs S T.J. Ward
But, my question to you is, first, did you like the Ward acquisition? Do you think he fits at all? Or, do you think it’s going to be a problem adjusting? Ward hasn’t played a two-deep safety system since college, so this will be new to him, but his roles could potentially stay the same as we’ve seen him before, just not starting.
Which leads me to my next question. If Ward is to only play the role he is best at, it may come as a sub-package player (who can still play plenty). If that’s the case and Chris Conte and Keith Tandy are still the Bucs starting safeties, will you be okay with that, or will it be a disappointment? Would you rather Ward just start at strong safety in place of Tandy, even though he’ll be asked to cover in ways he hasn’t shown much lately?
Let’s hear how you’d like to see ward be used, and whether or not you think it was worth getting.
