Why should you pickup and start Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston? With Devonta Freeman suffering a season-ending groin injury, which running backs in the NFC South would provide for an adequate replacement? Who are some players in the NFC North that may be worth looking at as bye week fill-ins? What defense should you pick up and start this week? Watch week 7’s Fantasy Football Forecast to find out!

Prfantasymailboxweek7Each week Scavelli will also be answering your fantasy football questions submitted to the comments section of our Fantasy Mailbox, which will be posted on Pewter Report’s official Instagram account @pewterreport every Monday afternoon. Below are the questions that were asked in our mailbox for this week’s edition of the FANTASY MAILBAG.

Question: Should I drop the Bucs defense since they aren’t holding anybody accountable?

Answer: There is no question that you should drop Tampa Bay’s defense, which has only scored 16 fantasy points in five games this season. The Bucs allow an average of 34.6 points per game to opposing offenses, struggle to get to the quarterback and rarely force any turnovers so they do not have any fantasy potential right now. Although the team did shake things up a little by changing defensive coordinators and have plenty of talent on that side of the ball, a wait-and-see approach must be taken, even this week when they face a Browns offense at home that gives up the 10th most fantasy points.
