Pete Prisco of CBSSports released his list of the NFL’s top 100 players prior to the 2019 season, with two Buccaneers making the list.

Coming off of a year in which he hauled in 87 passes for a career-high 1,524 yards and eight touchdowns, wide receiver Mike Evans landed at number 86.

And while 2018 wasn’t the most productive season of Lavonte David’s career, finishing 2018 with one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and three and a half sacks over 14 games, David earned his place on the list just a few spots behind Evans at 92.

With Bruce Arians’ high-powered offense and David moving into a critical middle linebacker spot alongside first-round draft pick Devin White in Todd Bowles newly-implemented 3-4 base defense, we may see both of their productions and ranking move up by this time next year, but only time will tell.
