Another great podcast guys. I have to be honest, I thought the Chick Berry story would be a running gag, but damn that was worth it. AS for the coverage, if Dalvin cook does fall to us and we don’t take him, I”ll be damn upset. However, I would understand for the Bucs to not take him, there would have to be a serious red flag there that we may never know. I still don’t think he makes it to us , but damn things are getting interesting. The closer and closer we get to the draft I am really seeing a defensive player taken as well unless one of those guys like Howard drop. I actually think we trade back with the Texans or the Chiefs. And then go Willis or a DB like Budda Baker.
The good thing is we have options. Hell if they trade back anbd cook is still there take him and get an extra pick or two in the process.

Oh and for those who still think Cook “plays slow” sports science had him as the same 20 yard split as John Ross with pads on. Also the fastest 20 yard split in the last 5 years. If the Bucs don’t take him, he messed up somewhere.

The problem for McCoy is that he will always be compared to Sapp and it really isn’t fair. Sapp was a Hall of fame player and he could take over a game and his best games were against the best teams. McCoy is very good but he will never be a hall of fame player. We have a solid character player who can be counted upon to show most of the time and play well as long as he is healthy.

Again, LeeRoy Selmon led by setting the example. Gerald should stay focus on being even greater.. Cook is the only RB I would take at 19 because it’s not the most need; however, it would give Winston another target the Defense has to take seriously. Would there be a higher rated player of need at Spot 19, I doubt it.

I’m just going to admit that I am taken with TE OJ Howard – saw him again on NFLNetwork Game Changers. I think he is a generational player that only comes along once in a decade. I honestly believe he will have Mike Evans type of impact. He will be long gone before we pick but I had to say it. If Jason Licht has another moment of weakness and goes up and gets this guy if he’s in striking distance, I am going to forgive him. Not going to happen, but that’s how much I’m impressed with this guy. My philosophy is when you get a shot, you gotta take it! Forgive me fellas, but I had to say it. Go Bucs!

      Buc 1976

Trade 2018 2nd rd pick to get Howard maybe a 4th also if need be a TE that runs like a WR and blocks like a OT they don’t come around very often.

    Mark Cook

Thanks for all the positive feedback. We are having a blast doing it, and we think we do as good a job as any Bucs podcast out there. Tell us what you like, or don’t, and what you’d like to hear more of.

Mark, it would be nice if you could video it too, much like Pewter panel on Bucs.com.
