The Dallas Cowboys were so caught up in what they were doing with backup quarterback Tony Romo that it was almost expected for them to lose more players than they would sign this offseason – that and their cap space needed major help. Romo hasn’t officially been traded or released, but we all know it’s coming, Tony even posted an Instagram about it himself. 

Dallas’ main need is to still pick up a pass rusher, and since they don’t really have the wiggle room in their cap to do that in free agency, they have to get a cheaper option in the draft. If they can get their hands on Barnett (who has the school record at Tennessee for most sacks in a career), I think they would be very, very pleased.
