The Pick: Deshaun Watson

The narrative around DeShaun Watson has been confusing, if you ask me.

For his entire college career, he’s been progressive in what he’s learned, he’s shown to be mentally tough in the biggest of games and he’s shown NFL abilities (though not as strong as other prospects) in how he throws the ball. 

Despite not having the biggest arm or the fastest velocity on passes, in this class, Watson is deserving of a quarterback who should go in the Top 10, if one were to do so. We’ve seen plenty of quarterbacks with big arms come and go in the NFL who don’t have what Watson has going for him above the shoulders.

He’s the quarterback I trust the most in this class.
