ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported late Thursday night that one Buccaneers assistant coach has tested positive for COVID-19, and two other assistants have been quarantined as a precaution.

No names or details have been released by the organization at this time. The Bucs coaching staff returned to the team facility on Monday.

Wow! Good thing only sick players are allowed at 1BP… errr Advent Health. (That’s sarcasm.)

I’m relieved to know the org is vigilant on COVID-19 testing.

I think it’s obvious it’s actually Buc-Ass-Bill now. You can never really get rid of Trolls unfortunately. Just don’t give them a reason to grab the Jergens and Tissues and just ignore them.

I keep saying that over and over. Pathetic wastes of life like him, that need to create an account on a football website, of a team they’re not even a fan of, just to copy and paste the same racist, degenerate, rant over and over again, is a special kinda of a loser, that just wants attention. So I don’t give it to him. I see the word Bill, I won’t even read it. I scroll to the bottom of the post, hit the thumbs down, and go on to read the next post. Don’t give the loser the time… Read more »

I can’t be the only one that is completely over this whole thing. It’s a joke. If you’re scared to go out in public then don’t. If you’re old as shit keep your ass inside. Otherwise lets get back to normal. I’m going to loose my mind if there is no football or I can’t go to the games. And before someone says football isn’t everything… it is everything… stop lying.

Football is happening. Whether they should or not. And whether people agree if they should or not. They ARE playing. The NFL’s statement to the great Dr.Fauci yesterday, said it all. It was basically “we don’t need your help thanks, we have our own plan in place.” People are going to catch it. And it’s telling that every single case I hear of covid lately seems to be asymptomatic. It seems like almost everyone I hear of getting it isn’t showing any symptoms. Plus, how little do we forget, that from day 1…the CDC, the WHO, government and state officials… Read more »

They need to have a Covid party and get everyone the antibodies now! Then they will be all good, as long as no one dies of course…

Daily reminder. Don’t reply, and don’t mention the losers name. Do what his wife does, if he even has one, ignore him and pretend he doesn’t exist. Eventually he’ll get the hint that nobody is giving him the time of day, and go back to his miserable existence

The NFL has had months to figure out a Plan in the New Norm for the 2020 Season. Obviously, they were in denail as to the future effects of COVID-19.

That makes no sense. What good does having a plan in place do, when A) there hasn’t been any practices, OTA’s, rookie mini camp, or training camp yet. And B) the season is 3 months away. What good does it do them to announce their plan? To make you happy? The NFL and NHL are the only ones approaching this logically. The NHL hasn’t announced the bubble city, or start date for a reason. They’re waiting until the last minute, in case the cities they planned on playing in have hot spots pop up. Hence, the reason why the NBA… Read more »

It makes a lot of sense if you have done a lot of “planning”and “what if”scenarios, for options in businesses I have been in. A lot of sense!

I’m sorry; I forgot that some have not been in businesses when this is done all the time. My fault. It isquite normal to do these types of scenarios in order to have success in various businesses. It really does make a lot of sense what I have stated, but I do understand that some haven’t been there to realize it.

Thank goodness our Coach is asystematic and a test caught it. That means he is not in danger and he can get over it and come back and coach during the season. The NFL will test every player before they start practices and then they will have to stay at their HQ without going home so that will help COVID-19 not to stop our season. It is doable.

There we go, we’re starting to think ahead. Yes exactly. I honestly believe NFL franchises will have to have two teams, each quarantine separately in order to have a successful full season.
This goes for all NFL teams. The question is can they make any money by doing this and will the players association go along with it and take less pay for some players?

Luckily the WHO changed their story and said that asymptomatic people “very rarely” spread the virus. I don’t even know what or who to believe anymore since the story keeps changing constantly.

I do know that I’ve been working throughout this whole thing with hundreds of people coming in and out and we haven’t had a case yet so it clearly isn’t that contagious.

The assistant coach who tested positive will do his 14 days quarantine and retest, hopefully returning right away.

The clue should have been when they noted that the primary means of transmission was through the air via droplets from coughing and sneezing. How can you pass a respiratory (lung infection) illness when you aren’t coughing or sneezing because you are asymptomatic (you have no symptoms)? A German study also found that you need exposure to a significant amount of the virus to actually contract it (meaning the virus is in your cells and has begun reproducing through the use of your cell DNA). Then recently they found that, even though the virus can live long on surfaces, the… Read more »

You could be right however if the data is manipulated by not doing a lot of testing in the beginning and then ramping it up in order to create nice pretty lines then it’s tough to figure out what happens. I fully understand a lot of people can continue work and be okay. This virus clearly affects older people and people with preexisting conditions as to respiratory compromises through various diseases. In the beginning we could have just told everybody to keep working and gand now provided N95 mass to the elderly people and preexisting conditions and encourage them to… Read more »
