Mark Cook currently is the director of editorial content and Bucs beat writer and has written for since 2011. Cook has followed the Buccaneers since 1977 when he first began watching football with his Dad and is fond of the 1979 Bucs team that came within 10 points of going to a Super Bowl. His favorite Bucs game is still the 1979 divisional playoff win 24-17 over the Eagles. In his spare time Cook enjoys playing guitar, fishing, surfing and family time at the beach.   1. off-topic but I liked what Koetter said in the locker room after the week one win: “It don’t matter how.” “It shows you what everyone else outside knows about us!” At least early on, you see the body language of the players – maybe that confidence will rule over the obvious lack of depth at CB going into this next game.

    I’m not so convinced myself, but I like to see the team have a bit of swagger based off of their performance vs. last year where they may have bought into others hyping them up… just my take. Who wouldn’t love to see the young guys make some plays out there? go bucs!
