Reynolds On Record is a weekly PRTV segment featuring PewterReport.com publisher and Bucs beat writer Scott Reynolds. This show will be taped each Wednesday following open locker room at the AdventHealth Training Center and provide the hot topics of the day along with previewing the team’s upcoming opponent for that week.

In this week’s episode, Reynolds goes on the record about Tampa Bay’s rash of injuries and how they will affect the secondary, talks about which unit on defense must step up the most this week and looks ahead to the challenges the team will face against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

  2. Scott, according to Mike Smith scheme this won’t be a problem for his young rookies or anybody else coming into play DB? Just playoff 5 -10 yards of your area of responsibility and if it’s third-and-long add another 5 yards.
    Defense should hold them to 35-40 points
    Which is what the Mike Smith scheme does.

  3. I thought that “press man” meant that you use lots of contact at the LOS on the receiver to disrupt the timing and route. But last week when we did play up we didn’t put hands on them like we are allowed to (at least when I was paying closer attention to that). Meanwhile the Saints did have their hands all over our receivers while playing up. Which leads me to another peeve of mine where we get called a lot for OPI for minimal contact but the corners are allowed to have hands all over our receivers?? Happened in the Saints game.
