In Pewter Report’s latest edition of SR’s Fab 5, Scott Reynolds went through Tampa Bay’s veteran options this coming offseason at the quarterback position, should the Bucs make the decision to move on from Jameis Winston, the team’s first overall draft pick in 2015. One of the options SR included was the Bengals’ Andy Dalton who is primed for an off-season trade after being benched in favor of rookie Ryan Finley.

Jason La Confora of CBSSports agrees that the Bucs might be a fit for the veteran quarterback.

Dalton will have one season left on his current contract, due to be paid an affordable $17 million in 2020. With Bruce Arians entering his tenure with the Bucs in win-now mode, he likely isn’t looking to groom and prepare a rookie quarterback and, according to La Conforta, Arians was a fan of Dalton throughout his draft process.
