From the Notepad
- Cornerback Brent Grimes was back at practice today. He participated in a limited role, but it was both surprising and encouraging to see him out there after that nasty laceration on his leg.
- Offensive guard Kevin Pamphile was back at practice today after missing on Saturday and Sunday, and was spending the day at right tackle for the injured Demar Dotson. Evan Smith filled in at guard, and if either Dotson or Smith miss any time this year, that seems to be the direction they’ll go.
- Wide receiver Josh Huff made a great leaping grab over the middle during the team’s scrimmage, and that just fortifies his case for being the fifth wide receiver kept on the final roster. We think he has the lead right now.
- Safeties J.J. Wilcox and Marqueston Huff nabbed interceptions today. For Wilcox, that’s his four of training camp, and for Huff that is his first.
