PewterReport.com and Westshore Financial present the Pewter Nation Podcast, a weekly audio hour of news, analysis and inside scoop on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers delivered with a dose of humor and insight from Bucs beat writers Scott Reynolds, Mark Cook, Trevor Sikkema, Taylor Jenkins and Matt Matera, who also serves as the show’s producer. Look for the Pewter Nation Podcast each week on PewterReport.com for your listening pleasure during the 2019 season.

The guys both recap and breakdown the Bucs preseason game from Friday night, getting into details of Jameis Winston’s passing, Bruce Arians electing for so many two-point conversions when they have a kicking competition. They also mention which players performed the best when it was all said and done.

Moving onto their next opponent, the Bucs will be having some joint practices with the Dolphins coming up and they preview a little bit of that as an old friend comes back into town.

There’s a couple of competition between opposing players that we are most looking forward too. Check out which one that is, plus some discussion that gets off the rails on an all new Pewter Nation Podcast.

  1. My worry is with three more preseason games, how many more starters can we afford to lose? The injuries are really starting to pile up.

  2. My thoughts on why Bruce may have gone for it instead of kicking field goals. Maybe he wants to get feel for what choices his understudy/ offensive coordinator would make in those, “need to have it” type of situations?
