After head coach Bruce Arians announced on Monday that running back Ronald Jones II had a potentially fractured pinky that may require surgery, similar to receiver Chris Godwin who fractured a finger in the Bucs’ Week 7 match-up with the Las Vegas Raiders, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times has reported that Jones is scheduled for a surgical procedure on the finger.

Jones was able to return to the Bucs’ Week 14 contest against the Vikings after suffering the injury, but Arians said on Monday that the team will have to “wait and see” how the injury develops when it comes to his availability moving forward. Godwin was forced to miss one game following his procedure, a Monday Night Football game against the Giants in Week 8, but was able to return to the field and play through the injury starting in Week 9.
