Everyone knows LVD came out with his loafing comments. Diaby too.  I have wondered if PR would report on it more. Maybe they will, but not surprising that DEAN comes up as an EASY example of a loafer last season with another outlet highlighting his play in the Patriots game, arguably he beginning of the collapse. '

Several examples are provided but if you recall the Patriots throw a TD by tricking self-centered/moneyball Dean to come off his zone responsibility. They run the same play where Dean SUCCESSFULLY jumped out of his responsibility to pick off the underneath pass earlier in the season. .  except of course the Patriots go over the top.  Tykee Smith compounds it by not doing his job. TD for the Patriots. Google the highlt to watch Dean, but it other plays, particualrly run defense tht stand  out

A recurring them has been that the Bucs are sort of in Super Bowl veteran clean out mode. As much as you can love LVD for his career, her was AWFUL last season and admits to loafing himself.  Dean was already gone, so he was not going to do anything for the team and it shows. Reddick a total bust who fought with Vea.

Will be interesting to see if more examples come out.

Lots of finger pointing in this.

All at everyone except the main culprit.

i mean not many head coaches survive that type of collapse

for them to go 2-4 in the last 6 games they were favored in, with the two wins being described as "marginal/lackluster" at best.....the team hasn't played good football since the month of October......and yet head coach returns

Well, Dean COULD BE another reason why Bowles might have gotten a reprieve.

Who came up wit the plan to psuedo-cut him and why?  Its like they tried to run him off by cutting his contract and he called their bluff.  If youre going to do then just get rid of him all together or bench him.  Dont go with some weird half measure, especially NOT with a player like Dean BECAUSE hes going to do things like try to jump the route in the Pats game.

Bowles has always talked up Dean, so maybe he had something to do with a compromise on Dean? Who knows, but recall that the Bucs moved on previously from Davis in a cost cutting move, so maybe Dean's pay cut plan was really a front office thing? To cheap to cut and replace?

Not sure, but its at least possible that the Dean contract thing was Bowles rolling with the punches.
