Yes the Bucs have a slew of winnable games remaining but they are so inconsistent they find ways to lose one score games because they are a bad team guided by Bowles. This team to be great needs to go full throttle and slam choke teams into submission with 2 and 3 point leads to seal victories aka Arians.

Bowles has them going on cruise control when this team has talent to throttle less talented teams.

I was looking at other games and the Saints who are also in a state of transition look more competent as a team despite not having all the talent they need yet.  They are a year out but they are also showing a lot promise.

The Panthers clearly looked improved from last season and they went out and improved their squad.   Bucs only hope of clawing their way back is to take down the top dogs aka Panthers.  A Panthers win next Sunday means they are in the driver seat for the division and the Bucs would be with 6 losses on the year already.

Falcons continue to be the most inconsistent team in the NFL but they have so much talent on offense that sooner or later they will go on a win streak.

From Center in college for JPJ to Left Guard to Center to Right Guard - and now - to the Bench.

It worked out really well for them today against one of the worst run defenses in the league.

20 carries 65 yards... 3.3 yards per attempt

Just the spark they needed

Barton 47.9 grade

JPJ 48.2 grade

Helluva flex

They both are hot trash it seems

Well one guy still has a job he's held since entering the league, while the other was bounced all over the place on the line - by multiple coaching staffs - because he wasn't any good any where. Now he's on the bench.

It's OK, you said you couldn't wait to quote this stuff when you were rage-whining, so I'll go ahead and do it for you:

Over JPJ.  Moronic.

John Paul Jordan isn't even in most team's Top 50!!

Tell me you're kidding.

Can't wait to quote this and anyone else that wants to go on record

Barton is a nice versatile pick. If JPJ wasn't available then I'd understand...

Could have easily traded waaaaaaaaaaaay back for this pick.

It's a B- when JPJ was there as an A+

Well I hope it works out. I'm glad we went line... glad we went center. JPJ is going to be much better. Like the Packers taking Myers over Creed...

Let's both be honest, Barton hasn't been as good as I'd hoped (although he's been better than his loudest detractors on here) and JPJ sure as hell hasn't been as good as you thought he was going to be - and clearly hasn't been as good as Barton.

Colts fire Chris Ballard.

Odd timing, so some shittle is going down in Indy.

An NFL team can’t lose to the Titans and expect to stay intact.

Literally they both aren't good.

JPJ getting benched doesn't make Barton some success.

Barton was taken 25 some odd picks earlier too.

They replaced JPJ and got the same results maybe worse...maybe their scheme sucks.

Maybe they both figure it out later. Maybe they both are out of a job soon.

Either way there's nothing there to say either of us were right about what we wanted at the time.

Their scheme just won the Superbowl. That isn't the problem. The backup scrub, through one game, just isn't any good either.

I think it's pretty easy to state that JPJ isn't Creed Humphrey's to Barton's Josh Meyers.

Also, one guy was bad enough to move all over the inside of the OL before being benched.  The other guy was good enough to jump out to LT for a few games. Whether you would like to admit it or not, one of these players has been better than other one.

And yet they both grade out identical.

Weird

And Barton is a first round pick

Weird

Reminds me of Chris Bosh... But his career ended. Hurts will probably be back next year

It's a fair debate. Reminds me of this

The Antonio Bryant Incident (2009): Bryant had an existing knee injury that severely flared up and swelled during the trans-Atlantic flight to London. The situation sparked significant media attention because the Buccaneers had flown the team in standard coach seating rather than chartering a specialized flight, leading to criticism over player recovery conditions.

Not quite.

JPJ:      63.8 PB & 43.8 RB

Barton: 72.1 PB & 44.4 RB

One player has been better, and that player still has a starting job. The other guy has been benched, after bouncing all over the OL looking for a home to no avail.

And you raged when JPJ - a guy that has been benched - was not the first round pick. "Moronic" one would say.

exactly so that same kind of argument is coming

Hurts injured in the game against the Rams, so that is the 4th, but he doesn't go to TEAM doctors until the 8th. Those team doctors let him fly the next day and then they check it again it London and its diagnosed as SUPERFICIAL (that helps the team lol) and he plays and flies back and its actually diagnosed back in the states as DVT and the much more scary part bilateral pulmonary so clots in both lungs.

at least they caught it
