And yet they both grade out identical.
Not quite.
JPJ: 63.8 PB & 43.8 RB
Barton: 72.1 PB & 44.4 RB
One player has been better, and that player still has a starting job. The other guy has been benched, after bouncing all over the OL looking for a home to no avail.
And Barton is a first round pick
And you raged when JPJ - a guy that has been benched - was not the first round pick. "Moronic" one would say.
Their total grade is the exact same, I already posted it.
Let me double check

48.2 for JPJ

51.2 for Barton now after the Steelers game.
He is rocketing up the charts to 30th ranked center
This is what you call a taller midget
Both suck but if you want this victory lap, it's all yours. Enjoy.
Hurts likely done for season with serious DVT
Reminds me of Chris Bosh... But his career ended. Hurts will probably be back next year
its only a matter of time before the London flight become part of the conversation
It's a fair debate. Reminds me of this
The Antonio Bryant Incident (2009): Bryant had an existing knee injury that severely flared up and swelled during the trans-Atlantic flight to London. The situation sparked significant media attention because the Buccaneers had flown the team in standard coach seating rather than chartering a specialized flight, leading to criticism over player recovery conditions.
exactly so that same kind of argument is coming
“I’m not a medical expert,” Sirianni said. “I lean on our guys in all those situations. I’m a football coach. I lean on our medical folks in every situation. I have full trust and full faith in them. It’s not just me who has major care for our players, it’s them as well. We are all there and I’m glad to be part of an organization that cares about our guys the way ours do.”
“We get medical information from our guys. We always put our players health first and foremost in every situation,” Sirianni said.
That is some scary shit. One of my best friends had this same thing and if that clot moves it can be fatal. It took 6 months for him under some stringent medication regimen and lots of care and checking. Trey Smith that played for my Vols (now with KC) was another person I know that had this same thing. Basically lost a quarter of the college season because of it. I hope Hurts listens to his own medical professionals and not anyone associated with the team.

Exactly
It makes me think back to the movie Concussion and how they used to treat players versus how they treat them today. It still isn't perfect but it is better than it was then. I think the Eagles have some negligence somewhere there. Hard to tell how far down it goes. He just needs to disconnect himself from the team while he is battling through this. Let them worry only about his health while on the field.hope Hurts listens to his own medical professionals and not anyone associated with the team.
Exactly
I'm wondering what causes the clot. Is it genetics? Diet? Supplements?
Sometimes I wonder if these players are adding more muscle than their body wants...
But who knows

Agreed.
Scary shit.

But who knows
the reporting is that he took a cleat to the calf and it was misdiagnosed as superficial as opposed to deep tissue. Deep tissue would be one explanation for the pulmonary embolisms because the deep tissue clot breaks off and becomes the PE
that's what makes it a story because did the team doctors misdiagnose it because their focus was only could he play ie aligned with the team more than the patient
And did that almost kill him because he flew two long flights and should not have. PEs are deadly

Oh interesting.
God damn am I walking around with blood clots? 😂

cancel that cross country flight to see your Bucs!
Not worth it anyway.

I was gonna go to the home game vs the saint but nope
I'm already suffering through my Ducks season tickets I'm not sure I can handle another team struggling to score 20.
I think it could be any/all of those things, Fire. When Trey Smith went through that here at the University of Tennessee, there were no clear reports from doctors or his family/camp but it was widely speculated that his was a result of genetic predisposition.I'm wondering what causes the clot. Yeah, the flying could have jerked him right out of this world with no warnings. And I can also (to some degree) sympathize with the medical care people IF they actually performed their job correctly (which can be debated). With Trey Smith, he was only complaining of shortness of breath and they thought it might be seasonal allergies. It was far more severe and they found it.I'm wondering what causes the clot. Star athlete gone just like that. In part because a medical diagnosis missed it. Glad it didn't play out like that and he's getting help now.
lost a good friend under similarly unfortunate circumstances.
