You don't have to get your depth from the draft. There are other ways to acquire depth at OL.

That’s obvious. But you’re trying to say no team has depth. I’m saying a successful way to have depth on the oline without spending a lot of money is by drafting young guys that can provide depth while they grow into possible starters. We haven’t done that well.

The Buccaneers claimed cornerback Kevin Knowles off waivers on Tuesday, according to the NFL’s personnel notice.

In a corresponding move, the Bucs waived undrafted free agent linebacker Caden Fordham.

But he doesn't do anything great either. He's exactly average,

He has absolute elite speed and is a home run threat.

From a pure running perspective, he's above average.

That being said, he's absolute trash in pass protection.

Not, Bucky bad (might be the worst in the league)...but it's pretty close.

Can you give me the list of teams with great OL depth?

Regarding saving money on the depth by being drafted vs free agents:

iOL

Billy Schrauth - 5th rounder

Luke Haggard - UDFA

Dan Feeney - FA, 1 year $1.488M

OT

Chuk - UDFA

Skule FA, 1 year $1.403M

What is the problem again?

After that third pre season game it was obvious they had to nab another ST ace.  Hayes isn't coming back soon.

Do you just argue to argue? “What is the problem?” Our reserve linemen are pretty bad… see the entire preseason.

Last year, we had injuries along the line just like many other teams. For example, the Patriots made it to the Super Bowl with 5 different combinations of eight different starters. A total of 9 different offensive linemen started for both the Rams and the Broncos. These teams found a way to succeed with a lot of backup linemen playing.

but let's hope for better health this season!
