Last year, we had injuries along the line just like many other teams. For example, the Patriots made it to the Super Bowl with 5 different combinations of eight different starters. A total of 9 different offensive linemen started for both the Rams and the Broncos. These teams found a way to succeed with a lot of backup linemen playing.

Which is it, Chief? Is the problem we aren’t drafting enough depth, but spending money on depth - even though only two of the five backups were FA signings, both of whom were signed for peanuts? Or is the problem the depth of Tampa’s OL is bottom tier among the rest of the NFL - which that isn’t true either.
