If Bowles had a legit DC under his wing and he could focus on HC then I think the team would be better off.
That could be true, but DC is the essence of who Bowles is so almost zero chance, especially not at 62

Mike Vrabel pretty good defensive mind. He had Zak Kuhr as his coordinator and play caller. But..Vrabel focusing on getting ass!....but also being the head coach. Team made the Superbowl
Mike Macdonald, another good defensive mind. he had Aden Durde as his coordinator but he called the plays. Again, this would likely be the Bowles mold
Robert Saleh will likely do the same. Has Gus Bradley as his DC but Saleh likely calling plays
Again, realize it may be a sham, but sheesh, bounce the ideas off someone if struggling. Last year, he had no one to turn too

You guys are describing what you want. I am describing what I think is the reality. I may be wrong. You may be right. But, if they didn't require it of him after 2025 - ya know, when he fired multiple position coaches - it probably is not going to happen.
