Most of it was weak competition (Jets, Titans x2, Colts without Jones x2, Cardinals) but they did have 2 impressive wins over the Chargers and Broncos in that run.
In the NFL, I will never accept the "weak competition" narrative. Mainly because it doesn't exist. They went to Denver and absolutely dotted their eye. They will win more than 8 games. Obviously, they need Lawerence to stay healthy but, they are a playoff team.
so they went 5-1 in the division last year. 3-3 the year before, 4-2 the year before that. Probably reasonable to expect 4-2 out of them this year.
gimme win against Cleveland in week 1 and they are 5-2 right there which would mean at least 4-6 in the remaining 10 games
@Denver, NE, @Cincy, PHI (London),@ Baltimore, @NYG, @ CHicago, V PIttsburgh, @Dallas, V Washington
that's some tough road games. NYG, Pittsburgh and Washington as wins? Most likely but not guaranteed.
Put it this way, we will know by the bye week just how good Jacksonville performs the encore - V CLE, @DEN, V NE, @Cincy, @London/Eagles, V Houston
Could be 1-5, or 2-4....do they have a winning record in those first 6 games?
