This. I do think the Buc’s are on the other side of this now. When you look at the totality of injuries in Tampa last season and conclude we will be a healthier better coached team in 2026, it’s easy to see why the Bucs are the favorite to win the division.

The Bucs still have the edge in overall talent but Carolina, Saints and Falcons have closed the gap. This is where coaching makes the difference and matters. Bucs better hope ST coach Danny Smith can figure out a way to help his team win 2-3 games due to ST. It would pretty much help Bowles who is mid.

i mean if hes comparing to prior years staff, these are Hall of Fame hires

I don't know about all that......if we are talking about how amazing a ST Coach hire is, then we probably have bigger problems. My expectations for the ST unit is not to lose me games. In retrospect, my expectations for OC, DC, and HC are to win the damn games. While I like is "antics" and expressions on the sidelines, Danny Smith is not going to win this team games. And Robinson is a mid-tier hire. I hope he does great things. The team needs another OC that is competent because they didn't have one last year. We will see what ole Zac can do.
Outside of Danny Smith the Bucs coaches are mid. So unfortunately the Bucs DO need Danny Smith to come in clutch and find a way to win some games with ST.

i think they could have done much worse than Robinson. They were looking at the Cardinals QB coach for Christ sakes.
so yeah we didnt land Mike McDaniel who likely would have been top candidate but he chose to be with Herbert over guys like Hurts and Mayfield. Can't fault him there.

he just needs to have a competent run game and a good short passing game. That almost comes down to health as much as anything.
