So, we’re still blaming Baker for Bowles coaching decisions?
Businessmen know that the longer you wait to make a deal can cost you more (resources) in the long run. What you’re describing is a high-stakes gamble on the talent you’ve assembled, without securing the most important position.
But, short-term thinking is a choice.
So your saying it's everyone's fault but the most important position for the anemic offense down the stretch. Got it!
Gambling would be giving a premature extension to a guy that has proven nothing else but having an up and down career and just had one of his worst seasons as a Pro. Been in the league 8 years and 2025 would come in at a solid 5th best season.
so while im rooting for Baker and he appears to be in agreement with his reasonable approach to no extension getting done (only homer fans getting their panties in a tizzy), he has 2026 to prove he is closer to 2024 guy and that the Bucs can win with him.
Baker is a top 15-20 guy. I want him to prove he is actually top 10 and so do the Bucs.
