i will claim victory in the debate, as the Bucs wanted to see what Baker they were getting before committing, particularly after a terrible last 11 games of footage

Donkey Hunter, White Tiger will claim victory in the debate in that the Bucs offered him a 2 year deal but because of Glazers cash issues or whatever, it didnt clear up until after the 17 games were played in 2026....or whatever makes them sleep better at night

What debate?

You said numerous times, and quite adamantly might I add, that the Glazers “were just like you” and wouldn’t offer Baker a “premature extension” this offseason.

They did, in fact, offer him an extension this offseason.

There is no more debate, regardless of your constant moving of the goalposts, flip-flopping, etc.

You were wrong.

Moving along…

they offered him a contract they knew he wouldn't accept?

why would they do that?

Did they, or did they not, offer him an extension?

answer my question first.  An extension that Baker's camp didn't even counter. What do you make of that?

Okay. Glad we’re in agreement.

He was, in fact, offered an extension.

Again, you were wrong.

Next…

Mayfield will be here in 2027 but that will be because of his rebound

if we were playing poker this would be a tell

If you argue NOW that later contract will prove your point (the Bucs didnt extend Mayfiled NOW because of the last 11 games of 2025) then the reported offer to extend him before camp DISPROVES your point, right?

Cant have it both ways

Come on now.

At best all you could reasonably argue now was that the reporting has been false (doubt it) or that  "the last 11 games of 2025" led the Bucs to "ONLY" offer 50+ million for two years (ie the market rate for a top 10-15 QB).

come on Badabing dont go FULL BIGGS on us

a deal offered that they knew he wouldn’t accept. 2 years, 100M. They didn’t even counter with the Bucs. Why?

grant it, that is not what I would have done because now you pissed him off and he went to the media on it.

if they truly wanted him, at his age 31 season and last pay day, would have had atleast 4 years to it
