It didn't matter in the end because they both ended up being backup QBs but that why PR lobbied hard for Winston and it's why Winston was the choice over Mariota.

I think of other players and I can't help but wonder how much of a factor that played with VH3, Aguayo, etc.

 

Not sure that decision had much to do with college affiliation.  I was stoked about us drafting Jameis as was I that you drafted Hargraves (I will always love rewatching him stonewall CMAC in Carolina to beat the Panthers).  Fact is, Bain is the type of player where you know you have something without having to do much scouting.  He's a damn dog and we should all be thanking the football God's that his is ours.
