Year 3 is the best assessment of a QB imo

Yep. Definitely have to see how the QB adjusts when the defenses have film.

The Chargers are underachieving.

Until they address the talent around Herbert, they are actually overachieving. Their OL is not good.

Yeah, they were hit hard with injuries to their two stud OT's last season, but they have a pretty good OL if they can stay on the field in Slater, Alt, Strange, Strange, Slaughter, & Biadasz. Three of those dudes are first rounders, with Slaughter a second, and Biadasz a fourth. They have put resources into the OL in San Diego.

Combine that with Mike McDaniel (who brought Alec Ingold, which will help the OL and offense as a whole) as the new playcaller and their offense should be pretty good.

I put 200 on them making the afc championship game. They're kinda "due" for a healthy season

I think Daniels has the brain and ability to be a very good QB.  My only concern is, and it’s a big one, can he shield that slight body type from year after year injuries.  Lamar is different as he has a bit of a build.  Daniels is just so slight in the legs and arms.  I like him and his game but not sure he can stay on the field.

And he won't fill out... He was in college for 5 or 6 years so he's just about at muscle maturity. Maybe he can add 15
