so ill give it to you that David is under-rated but when i look at a class of Brees, Fitzgerald, Vinatieri. I'd argue Kuechly is that 4th wheel on the shopping cart that just aint quite right
Yeah, you are definitely underrating Kuechly. Again, there was half a decade where Kuechly was the best player at his position in the NFL. That is something Drew Brees (Manning, Brady, Rodgers) Larry Fitzgerald (Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Terrell Owens) or even Adam Vinatieri (Gostkowski & Vanderjagt had better FG% during his career) can't say - although I would put Vinatieri at #1 because of his crazy post-season success. All of those guys are legit HOF'ers, and so is Luke Kuechly.
It's not like Kuechly retired early because he wasn't good enough to keep playing at a high level. The dude retired because he kept getting concussions.
