Eagles trade for Dontayvion Wicks and extend him on a 1 year $12 mm deal.
Eagles traded away their 2026 5th rounder and 2027 6th rounder.
Why do teams keep giving the eagles good players for nothing then the eagles can just turn around and get a comp pick for them? God damn it's annoying
I know this is a joke but, the Eagles couldn't be further away from truly competing if they were the Arizona Cardinals.
This was a waste of a move in anticipation of Brown leaving.
They have the best GM and one of the most talented rosters even still after all the losses in FA.
They are perennial winners... Not sure what you mean.
Hurts is mostly trash but either way they are better off than us...
And now rumors are swirling that Licht is going to pay Baker this offseason so... Saddle up
Not to take anything away from Roseman but it is also Lurie. You can see that just by comparing the Eagle to the Bucs
The Glazers give Licht a cash budget equal to the cap. Full stop.
Lurie doesnt limit Roseman's cash budget so that allows him to pay big upfront $. And the Eagles need the big upfront $ because they are deep in the red.
So, in 2025 the Eagles cash spend was $330 million (roughly). the Bucs was $299 million.
The Eagles were top 5 or 10 in dead cap $ in 2025 and they have an unparalleled $400 million in void years. Its all got to come down at some point. Mickey Loomis was a "genius" during the Drew Brees/Sean Payton era . . but then the bills started coming due.
Roseman is still a very good GM, not taking anything from him. He's also a risk taker. This season they have a 30ish year old OC . . and that cost them their legendary offensive line coach, so lets see how it goes. Trying to trade AJ Brown. Leaks about Hurts . . .
Giants, Bengals agreed to Dexter Lawrence trade. Bengals surrender their 1st rounder for Dexter Lawrence and are working on an extension too.
Falcons and Jags swap DL. Ruke Orohorhoro is going to the Jags and the Falcons have obtained Maason Smith.
Panthers sign QB Will Grier.
Giants sign DT Shelby Harris
Saints to sign CB Martin Emerson on a 1 year deal. And also sign Afernee Jennings.
Bucs were rumored to be a landing spot to Emerson according to Pewter Report but he is a Saint now.
Cowboys sign M. Valdes-Scantling, Tyler Johnson and LB Curtis Robinson
Browns sign FB Michael Burton

Licht is a fool if he doesn't add LB depth
Bucs would be wise to add another LB, CB, OG, RB and DL IMO.
We will see what they do with this second wave of free agency after mini camp and right before TC. I think they end up signing another CB, RB and LB IMO.
Licht’s already said he may bring in others, but that the big signings are done.
I agree with you that we need to add more - and at those positions - but I’m only expecting rotational/depth signings.

This team lacks depth and could use a veteran corner.
I would have preferred we added Njoku for cheap to compliment Otton.
I like our offensive line depth slightly more than last year. I like our d-line depth.
I expect some cheap additions at ILB & Corner, because we are very thin there.
but we’re not going to fill every hole, every team has weakness. Every team design schemes to maximize talent & results, this builds in certain weaknesses to certain schemes, so they attempt to hide weaknesses.
The problem is Licht and Bowles became complacent last year and hit them during the season with injuries. I feel the same vibe this year where they are too complacent with the roster again and the lack of urgency seems apparent. They still need to add to CB, ILB and even OL if they are serious about having competition and depth.
they are too complacent with the roster again
I doubt Bowles is complacent about the roster.
He (and Licht) might believe in existing players, but Bowles especially should want to have a solid deep roster, to the extent that is possible in the NFL.
Waiting to see if we’re players in the next round of post-camp cuts when rosters have to get trimmed.they are too complacent with the roster again

We need some depth at critical positions, curious to see if we give some folks at these positions some one year deals? I ask, because I’m doubting we’ll commit cash.

I was trying to find who we added post-draft last year, if anyone?
I think three or four UFA made the team as notable back ups (JJ Roberts Ben Chuck) but we probably had 10-12 total on the roster
Thats why I asked the question. I thibk Jason Licht already showed us his plan to add depth at ILB and CB.Waiting to see if we’re players in the next round of post-camp cuts when rosters have to get trimmed.they are too complacent with the roster again
