I guess somebody thinks Bridgewater has value, even though the Bucs didn't trust him to sub in for a banged up Mayfield. Will we see the return of Trask?

Not that it matters but he would have probably won a game or two as a back up. Baker was toast.
Hall not good enough for the putrid Bucs defense, but good enough for the #2 Texans defense lol
i thought they should have brought Hall back, but there was never any buzz that they were trying to do that.Hall not good enough for the putrid Bucs defense, but good enough for the #2 Texans defense lol
Texans overpaid for Hall IMO.
I don't think it is funny it is bullet dodged by the Bucs. Re-signing Hall doesn't help the Bucs upgrade their edge rushers or ILB to be honest.

That could indicate that either the Texans' coaching staff thinks the issue was coaching or scheme or perhaps they just see him as depth.

Getting a receiver injured with a shit throw did not help Teddy.

even funnier
Yeah, it's hilarious when other teams overpay for Tampa's first pick that wasn't good enough to get a second contract in Tampa. A real knee-slapper.

Teddy was god awful but you are suggesting Trask would have been better than a non 100% Baker?
Baker did regress big time last year but if it was indeed injury related that the Bucs failed him.
The fact that we didnt extend him makes me think it was NOT injury related and Baker just sucked

Mayfield has two great years (23/24) and then one down year (25), although he won several games with his own play early in that down year (25)
Beside his drop in play, the things that standout between 23/24 and 25 is that 2025 had a heavily-injured line and a modest run game because of it, an OC who was fired (compared to two who went on to HC jobs) and a team collapse that included a decision to run the ball 30 times in one game.
and thats before consideration of his own apparent injury.
Mayfield is probably on the low end of the team's problems.
Hendrickson to the Ravens 4/$112m. That's a big number. Seems like there is certainly some fuckery going on in Baltimore considering they just backed out of the Crosby deal last night. No way they negotiated with Hendrickson's camp in 12 hours.

Someone else posted that the physical of Crosby would have been to early per league rules? I have no idea if that is accurate, but if it is and you add in your point it definitely looks a little sketchy.
@bucsbits Seems like every NFL reporter is saying most execs are not happy with the way it went down. I think he's 2 months post surgery so clearly he wouldn't pass a physical. Ravens got cold feed. Hard to believe they didn't already have this planned and were negotiating with Hendrickson before the news about rejecting the trade went down.
