I think Trotter is a better athlete than Britt. Plus he isn't just an A gapper as he has shown he can bring some heat from outside the tackle box.
With the way the draft is going the Bucs will have their pick at WR, CB, G and DT.
I hope they don't pull another Trotter style pick. I don't think the guy is bad, but I would have taken Anthony Hill or Jake Golday ahead of him.
There's no way to sugar-coat this pick. It was a bad pick. Trotter probably could have been had in the 3rd round the way the draft is shaping up. That was a long reach for a guy that I don't know I would have reached on.
Given that all the LBs the Bucs have brought in to rack up tackles I think they had Trotter higher on their board than most want to admit. LVD and Dennis missed too many tackles last season.

Given the Bucs are drafting tough hard nosed hammers I think they continue that trend into round 3.
I think what pisses me off more about this pick is the LBers that were there for the taking all outrank him and are probably quite a bit better than Trotter....and we waste the pick on him.
