Yesterday or maybe the day before Arians said the team will miss LVD more than Evans. If that is accurate then the D should take a bit of a jump forward because LVD hasn't been LVD for a couple years. Proof of that is in the article. One of his defining traits over his career was his incredible screen play and coverage play, the Bucs were almost the worst at those two things (rbs and TEs)
I totally get Arians point though from a leadership perspective. LVD like a coach on the field.
Warner did it with NFL network, got in
Warner had a HOF resume and accolades, even with a shorter career. I remember arguing with some Krazy bastard about it years ago after Warner retired. It had nothing to do with popularity. He deserved it.

how so? his stats certainly underwhelming for an NFL resume. and i guess you could say the same about a guy like Joe Namath
basically was a stud from 1999 to 2001 (mediocre 2000 year) but was greatest show on turf with a Super Bowl.
injuries to non existent in 2002 and 2003
Joined Giants as bridge QB in 2004, non factor
joined Arizona in 2005 through 2009; had a couple good seasons there
The Superbowl helps but i wouldnt necessary say Joe Flacco is a hall of famer. Might be one if Kurt Warner is

Warner’s prime was short but incredible:
- 2× NFL MVP (1999, 2001)
- 3× Super Bowl appearances
- 1× Super Bowl champion (Super Bowl XXXIV)
- Super Bowl MVP
At his peak, he wasn’t just good—he was arguably the best quarterback in football. He's one of only 12 guys that won both the NFL MVP and Superbowl MVP in the same season - something Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, John Elway, Aaron Rodgers, Troy Aikman, Johnny Unitas, etc. never accomplished. And when you factor in his playoff performances, it kinda cements it.
- 9–4 playoff record
- 31 TDs vs 14 INTs
- Multiple deep playoff runs with two different franchises (Rams & Arizona Cardinals)
I'll repeat: the guy lead the fuggin' Arizona Cardinals to the Superbowl.
Joe Flacco can't touch that. He had one great playoff run. That's it.
