to me, this deal was always going to be a 4 or 5 year deal or we were going to let him walk. still feel that way...except depending on Bakers play in 2026, maybe he accepts a 3 year deal.

it's really not that hard to understand where Baker's camp is coming from. Not sure why some on here are acting like it was a good offer.
The market has been set and we need to decide if we want to give Baker 4, 5 year deal and an average value over 50M per year and likely closer to 55.
