I have said if Baker sat 2 games the Bucs might had made the playoffs last season.
Fair point, but it seem like there is almost no way that happens in the real world? Can you think of an actual parallel in recent history? I think (could be wrong) it is sort of a hindsight thing to say.
He's banged up by the 2nd game, but the Bucs are 6-2 at the bye. He's not going to be benched for the Pats game at home we almost won or the Bills game that they were in until the end or the Rams national TV game where he gets hurt.
By the AZ win the Bucs are tied with the Panthers, as I recall, so each game going forward is critical.
